Some pitches are particularly attractive on the banks of the river Sorgue : this river is very clear and used for canoeing, swimming or fishing. New : a riverside, wooden lodge on stilts will give you the full nature experience. There are an outdoor heated swimmingpool, a children's pool with paddling pool, free tennis court, wifi access, common barbecue, direct access to the river and modern, clean and well equipped shower block. And a lot of hiking or cycling trails start from the campsite. La Coutelière is only 2km from Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, 5km from Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and 26km from St Remy de Provence or Avignon. The establishment

Very friendly, accommodating staff. Excellent bakery items available. Lovely pool area. Really enjoyed our stay.

A great stay at a great camping

The establishment

I am really blown away by the quality of the camping! Its clean, well maintained and had excellent services (like renting the fridge and getting freshly baked bread each morning).

There were some inconsistencies between the showers: Some of the shower buttons lasted a lot shorter then others. Some showers were warmer than others. Some shower buttons also made a lot of noise. I would also have loved to see some basic cooking supplies at the reception store, like: salt, pepper and olive oil.

The establishment

We stayed two weeks at this beautifully situated campsite. Beautiful location. Very well maintained sanitary facilities, lovely warm showers. Excellent camping app with extensive information about the campsite and cool activities in the area. Will come back next year because we are far from finished looking at this beautiful area.
