camping de la plate is spotlessly clean and very friendly. Ideal stopover if you’re getting the ferry to or from Cherbourg

Lovely small well kept campsite with easy walk to beach, and near to Cherbourg. Helpful staff and good clean showers and toilets.
We wanted to go by bus to cherbourg, (Its the C bus rout) but the reception had no timetables and were unable to help.
