Campsite with potential but certain things need addressing
The establishment
The size of the pitch was very good. Shaded from too much sun which we liked. Pool area (when the slides worked)
- Night manager is required with a presence on the pitch. Many nights it was too noisy.
- Only one washing machine for the majority of our stay. One dryer was operational (but it doesn’t dry the clothes - tried three times)
- Took too long to fix broken slides
- In the external shower area, you could not be guaranteed hot water at busy time
- The shop needs to be better stocked
- Did not like the system of having to order your bread and pastries the day before - an extra job to have to do on holidays and bread should be supplied on site considering the nearest shop is 15 minutes away.

This is the third stay at this site over a number of years. On each occasion we have stayed for a few days and used it as a base to explore the region as part of a touring holiday. The owners continue to spend time and money improving the site and facilities. The bar, terrace and reception have all been upgraded since our last visit and have been done well.
I really like this site. It is big enough to have some good facilities but small enough to feel more friendly.
