Malgrat is located 40 km away from Gerona and 60km away from Barcelona, therefore this location is highly suitable for you if you feel like visiting the cities without even having to do a long trip. The camping (campground) is located on the outskirts of Malgrat de Mar, at 1,5km away from the somewhat busy market, shopping and touristic areas, nearby the Tordera river. The Tordera River has an extent of natural diversity of animals and nature. It is placed only 50m away from large beaches with course sand, which allows you to spend some relaxing days with the family, your partner or friends. Open March 26th to October 30th. For splendour of position, Cala Llevadó can compare with almost any in this guide. A beautifully situated cliff-side site, enjoying fine views of the sea and coast below, it is shaped something like half a bowl with steep slopes. High up on the site, with a superb aspect, is the attractive restaurant/bar with a large terrace overlooking the pleasant swimming pool directly below. There are terraced, flat areas for caravans and tents (with 10/16A electricity) on the upper levels of the two slopes, with a great many individual pitches for tents scattered around the site. Some of these pitches have fantastic settings and views. The site is unsuitable for campers with disabilities. In some areas cars may be required to park separately. Facilities: Four very well equipped toilet blocks are immaculately maintained and well spaced around the site. Baby baths. Laundry facilities. Motorcaravan services. Gas supplies. Fridge hire. The campsite's bar-restaurant welcomes you for a family moment on the terrace or to enjoy the animations organized in the evening. The youngest members of the family will also have fun thanks to the campsite's mini-club and the various activities organized for them. In addition, they can play in the sports areas of the campsite (football, tennis, miniature golf, table tennis, basketball), in the children's playground or in the Aqua Splash, some water fountains. Camping Alegria del Mar is owned and managed by a British-Spanish family, open since 1986. On site there is always a great ambiance with a personal touch, ideal to chill out or participate in our organized activities like dances, live music, flamenco shows, barbecue nights, petanca, children's activities etc... The beach is just 50m away with direct access. Perfect for a long or short stay.

Pitches surrounded by nature

Surrounded by nature, our plots are all located in the same area of the campsite. We have two types of plots: camping plots and standard plots. Both types have electricity but it is mandatory to bring an extension cord of at least 5 meters. There is an area for filling and emptying water and manual chemical drainage. Enjoy with your partner, family or friends all the services offered by the campsite: experiences, swimming pool, restaurant, guided activities, among others. Pets are allowed with a supplement.
