The campsite is situated 6 km from Florence on top of the Fiesole hill with the enchanting view of Florence, which can be easily reached by bus.

Camping Badiaccia is pleasantly situated on the banks of Trasimeno Lake. Surrounded by the blooming hills of Toscana and green Umbria, it offers a perfect starting point for excursions to the most important archaeological and cultural places of Italy (Florence, Siena, Assisi and Perugia are only a few kilometres away)

Tuscany's hilly landscape is dotted with cities, all highlights of Italian culture. These places are always the jewels in Italy's crown with many churches, castles and some of the best museums in the world. Camping  Village la Chiocciola, is an excellent base for trips to Florence (62 km), Siena (32 km), Arezzo (25 km) and the Chianti vineyards. Located as the first campsite in the Ambra Valley at 250 metres above sea level, it offers peace and relaxation and direct contact with nature, and is an ideal setting for hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers. The campsite offers a pleasant and relaxing stay. The campsite has three outdoor swimming pools, including one for children, two tennis courts and table tennis.
