Camping de la Bageasse in Brioude in the heart of Auvergne, on the road to Santiago de Compostela and towards the _Gorges de l'Allier_. Located on a river, the place is ideal for fishermen. Camping with wooden chalets, mobile homes, swimming pool with paddling pool, snack bar and base of canoe / kayak. Direct access to the beach with supervised swimming in July-August. Many hiking trails nearby.

Our campsite is located in the heart of the Puy-en-Velay, in a wild and preserved nature and at the foot of the famous rocks where the statue of the Virgin and the cloister dominate. The campers enjoy a calm and green setting on a surface of 1.5 hectares. Our 72 pitches are spacious and shaded and many are suitable for campers thanks to a stabilized floor. Fishers will also be delighted by the river passing 200 meters from the campsite.

Camping de Vaubarlet lies amidst the landscapes of the Haute-Loire which is situated between the modern city of St Etienne and the medieval town of Le Puy-en-Velay, and an hour’s drive from Lyon. In a valley on the banks of the Dunière river, an excellent fishing river, and at the heart of a network of hiking and mountain biking itineraries, the Vaubarlet Campsite welcomes you to 35 acres of green pastures surrounded by wooded hills. At your disposal a heated swimming pool and paddling pool, a restaurant and bar, Chalets, Cottages Nature, equipped Lodge Safari-tents and a real Gipsy Wagon. Multiple possibilities of hill walks around the site as well as the outdoor pursuits like mountain biking and canoeing. Principal historic sites such as Le Puy-en-Velay and the preserved nature of an authentic region, far away from mass tourism.
