Camping de l’Ill, in Colmar, in Alsace in the Haut-Rhin (departement 68), is just 2 kilometres from the town centre of Colmar (easily accessible using the cycle path). The campsite is located in the heart of nature on the edge of the river Ill. It is a little haven of greenery that is just a stone's throw from the town centre. Camping de l'Ill is ideal for visiting Colmar and the region and is just 20km from the German border, 40km from Mulhouse and only a short distance from the Ballons des Vosges national park.

Baden-Baden, Freiburg and Colmar are also at reasonable distance for pleasant trips. The Europapark Rust is only a few minutes away by boat. So are the natural parks of Taubergiessen in Germany or the Erstein Forest and the Rhinau island in France.
